The 1920s were a joyous period in Europe. The people were enjoying times of peace and celebrating life. Motorcycles were becoming extremely popular and Husqvarna made the most of the growing interest.

The 1970 500cc Motocross Grand Prix season saw a year-long battle between Bengt Aberg and teammate Arne Kring. Ultimately, it was Aberg who took the honours due to an injury sustained by Kring.
