A measured performance in Gillman at Round 3 of the 2026 Australian ProMX Championship saw Raceline Husqvarna TDUB Racing Team’s Todd Waters claim valuable MX1 points with an eighth-place finish overall on Sunday.

Waters entered the South Australian round looking to continue his strong start to the outdoor season, powering his Husqvarna FC 450 to 11th on the MX1 qualifying timesheets before charging to 10th in Moto 1 after going down during the race.

An improved eighth-place result in Moto 2 saw the Queenslander secure P8 overall for the weekend via 10-8 moto scores, with Waters currently sitting fifth in the MX1 standings entering Toowoomba on May 24.

"It wasn't a good weekend for me," reflected Waters. "Average starts – I was around fifth to 10th place – but then I went down in Moto 1 and picked it up outside the top 10. It was a super-hard track to pass on, so I didn't make too many passes. I struggled with making a charge here under the conditions, but just in general I couldn't get in a flow from the get-go. So, no big crashes, and that's the main thing for me, coming back in one piece, and now I'm really looking forward to Toowoomba. I think my bike is set-up really well for there, so I guess I just have to put this one behind me and keep charging!"

In the MX2 division, Raceline Husqvarna TDUB Racing Team rider Reid Taylor guided his Husqvarna FC 250 to the sixth-fastest qualifying time, quickly adapting to the soft, sandy conditions in Gillman.

Taylor then recorded a pair of 11th-place finishes across Sunday’s double moto format, with the consistent results earning him 12th overall for the round and elevating him to 15th in the MX2 standings after three rounds.

"It was a consistent weekend in terms of results, but we definitely want more than that," Taylor said. "We have been putting in a lot of work, so the goal is to turn these results around in the coming rounds."
