Round 3 of the 2025 AUSX Supercross Championship in Sydney marked a solid outing for Raceline Husqvarna Tdub Racing Team's Travis Olander, who finished with a P12 result in the SX2 division and continues his steady rebuild following a pre-season injury.

Olander qualified 13th onboard his Husqvarna FC 250, acclimatising himself with the high-speed Sharks Stadium track layout, which demanded concentrated consistency on Saturday night.

The young Queenslander then raced to 12th in the first of two SX2 Finals, before improving to 11th place in race two, which saw him earn 12th overall on the night, and he sits 14th in the SX2 standings following three rounds of racing.

“The event started off well, and we saw that I had made improvements from the previous round by qualifying 13th,” commented Olander. “I went into the Heat Race and got a decent start, but got pushed wide, which sent me to the LCQ. I qualified through that, and then in Final 1, I was running inside the top 10 and building confidence before getting shuffled back, but it was positive to be in the mix. Final 2, we made some good changes, and we kept it consistent and stayed upright, which is the goal, and continue to build that confidence as the series progresses.”

In the SX3 Class, Raceline Husqvarna Tdub Racing Team's Jake Rumens showed speed throughout Saturday’s event, however, a difficult Heat Race and LCQ saw the young rider miss out on qualifying for the Final.

“The weekend was good, and the track was a lot of fun,” reflected Rumens. “I was involved in some carnage in both the Heat Race and the LCQ, so unfortunately I didn’t make it through to the Final, but we are learning a lot and that’s the main thing.”
