Managed by Dylan Brown, Director of Apico Factory Racing, the team will be racing on Husqvarna Motorcycles machinery, primarily in the ACU British Motocross Championship and select other series in the UK and Europe.

With changes being made to the MX2 class of the ACU British Motocross Championship, Jamie Law, who has been racing for the past 26 years, will be making a return to two stroke racing for 2020 on the Husqvarna TC 250.

Matt Burrows will be riding both the Husqvarna FC 250 and the TC 250 throughout 2020, switching between the two machines. Burrows showed great promise in 2019 with excellent results in the Apico 2 Stroke Festival and the EMX two stroke class at Matterly Basin.

Stuart Edmonds will be competing in the MX1 class onboard the 2020 Husqvarna FC 450. The competition will be high next season with a stacked field full of talented riders who compete at an international level.  After a solid performance at the Motocross des Nations in 2019, Edmonds is looking to carry his form into the new season.

New to the team for 2020 is Jack Lindsay, who will be riding the 2020 Husqvarna FC 250. Lindsay previously raced for Apico throughout 2016 and 2017 on a Husqvarna TC 85. He will be competing in the ACU British Motocross Championship in the Youth class and the Bridgestone British Masters.

Apico Husqvarna will make their team debut at the Hawkstone International on Sunday 9th February 2020.

Dylan Brown; Director, Apico Racing:
We have a great team of people at Apico Husqvarna and there’s a lot of fun in the lead up to the events before the serious element kicks in, performing at the pinnacle of British Motocross. The support from Husqvarna UK this year allows the riders and the team to have the best of everything available to them, including more Husqvarna machinery and WP Suspension to make sure we have the right tools to do the job. The lads have also pledged to give more time to their training to ensure we can improve on the results achieved in the 2019 season. I’d like to thank Matt Walker, Husqvarna Motorcycles UK and all the other sponsors that play a part in what we do to go racing.”

Matt Walker, Managing Director, Husqvarna Motorcycles UK: “Apico Husqvarna are a team derived from passion and having run Husqvarna machinery for the past few years, it felt right to offer them support for 2020 to allow them to progress further as a team. With British motocross evolving in 2020 it is important to us to work with teams who have the same drive and focus as us and Apico Husqvarna fulfil that. Dylan Brown has the riders’ best interest at heart and that is mirrored through his company, Apico Factory Racing. I am looking forward to seeing the progression of the team throughout 2020.”
