It’s been a solid week of results for the Husqvarna Junior Racing Team at the KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship (AJMX), with Jack Deveson and Peter Wolfe both claiming two podium positions each, as Ethan Wolfe took a P5 result in the 85cc 9-U12 division.

New South Wales standout Deveson proved across the weekend why he’s one of the country’s next up-and-coming racers by finishing third overall in both the 250cc 15 Years and the 125cc 15 Years classes.

Deveson led the 125cc class on his Husqvarna TC 125 early after achieving 2-1 results in his opening two motos, but slipped to P3 overall after finishing his week with two fourths and a fifth. In the 250cc class, he registered consistent 5-3-3-3-4 results onboard the Husqvarna FC 250 to wrap up his second podium of the week.

Jack Deveson: "It was a big week of racing, but I felt good, especially early on. It was a shame to lose the opportunity to go for the win in the 125 class, but to finish the weekend with two championship podiums is pretty satisfying."

Teammate Peter Wolfe enjoyed similar levels of success in the 125cc 13-U15 Years and 250cc 13-U15 Years classes, as he put in remarkably consistent performances to take a pair of championship podiums.

Across both classes, the NSW teenager put himself in contention in every race, as he wrapped up his weekend with four P2 results and four P3 results from his eight motos, also equipped with Husqvarna TC 125 and FC 250 machinery.

Peter Wolfe: "My week was good. I started a bit slow, but I found my flow, picked up some speed and achieved two third-place overalls. I’m happy with how everything went, it was an awesome event and I can’t thank everybody enough for all the effort they put in."

The youngest member of the Husqvarna Junior Racing Team, Ethan Wolfe, finished his weekend strong to secure himself a top-five position in the 85cc 9-U12 class. After fighting around the top 10 in the opening two finals, Wolfe charged to third in the last race to jump into P5 on countback riding the Husqvarna TC 85.

Ethan Wolfe: "I was able to keep get more comfortable as we did more races and finished the last moto in third. The track was really bumpy, so it was hard work out there, but a top-five was a good result in the end."

In addition, congratulations to young New Zealander Hayden Draper and the LMC Husqvarna team on taking victory in the 250cc 13-U15 Years class with the Husqvarna FC 250.
